Mark Houser: Director of Information Technology

Mark Houser brings over 23 years of experience developing technology solutions for the hospitality industry. Mark spent 17 years at Multi-Systems, Inc. (MSI), where he functioned as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Information Officer and Mark was the CTO at Roomlinx, Inc. Mark specializes in systems integration and has been involved with the design and creation of the HMBookstore LMS (Learning Management System) for more than ten years, and continues to ensure that HMBookstore remains the industry leader in online learning platforms.

Molly Milliken: VP of Sales and Marketing

Molly Milliken, VP of Sales and Marketing for HMBookstore, manages our university accounts and sales & marketing campaigns. Molly has spent over 10 years in various roles in the hospitality industry. Her areas of expertise include operations, meeting and special event management, brand standards and owner relations. Molly has experience in both on-property and corporate roles and holds a Masters of Management in Hospitality from Cornell University.

Rick O'Neil: Corporate Controller

Rick O'Neil majored in Business Administration from Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio. With a focus in Accounting and Operations, Rick has thrived in the Hospitality industry for more than thirty-five years. Rick has mastered the intricacies of Accounting procedures for select service, full service, and convention and resort properties throughout the country. Rick assumed the position as Corporate Controller for Tristar Hotel Group in 2006, Rick has full accounting responsibilities that range from overseeing property accounting procedures and validating all banking activities to production of financial statements and preparation of annual budgets.

Marilyn Edwards: Senior Content Manager

Marilyn is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, with a B.S. degree in Hotel Management. Currently serving as Revenue Manager for Tristar Hotel Group, Marilyn is responsible for overseeing the revenue management practices and policies of Tristar's hotel properties, to include all E-commerce revenue streams. Marilyn has spent over 15 years in the hotel industry holding management positions in the Front Office and Accounting departments. Marilyn oversees the content development for HMBookstore.

Jodi Ligon: Content Manager

Jodi Ligon received a Business Management degree from The University of Phoenix while employed in multiple managerial positions within the hospitality industry. Beginning in 1995 Jodi has developed superior experience as a Front Desk lead, one that entailed supervising more than 10 employees daily, finalized all hotel financial paperwork, and Guestroom inventory control. In 2005 Jodi began as a Revenue Manager using her knowledge throughout the Resort industry in Scottsdale, Arizona. Throughout her years of experience in the hospitality industry Jodi has been awarded Supervisor of the Year for Scottsdale Camelback Resort and was designated as Associate Resort Professional for the American Resort Development Association. Currently, Jodi is responsible for all content review and management with HMBookstore.com

Duane Cristion: Regional Manager & Trainer

In the past 20+ years, Duane has developed superior customer service and service culture skills. He has extensive training spanning 20 years with Marriott as General Manager, Food and Beverage Director, and Chef/Sous Chef for Marriott’s and Sheraton’s in Arizona. He has experience in conversions, renovations, and revenue management. He spearheaded training at the property level with the associates.

Duane is currently, a Regional Manager and Trainer, overseeing multiple properties. He handles employee training both online and via direct property visits. He consistently works with property level managers and employees to improve customer service skills, quality assurance, guest response and social media scores.

Brian Walski: Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Brian oversees strategic accounts and key customer relationships. He directly manages all Hotel Training of HMBookstore at single and multiple level operations. Brian has a successful track record in leading and implementing IT solutions and solving complex business problems. He has over 30 years of business and IT management experience within the supply chain and hospitality. Based on researched industry trends, he is responsible for developing product strategies and supporting roadmaps. Brian joined HMBookstore in June 2014.

Lauren Woods: Chief Editor & Content Manager

Lauren graduated from Colorado Mesa University, in May of 2013, with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature. She assists with editing and content management for HMBookstore, as well as customizing brand specific eBooks for HMBookstore.com. She began her journey with HMBookstore in July of 2015.
