Market Feasibility Studies

Market and feasibility studies are used to inform the decision as to whether or not to buy or build a hotel. Sometimes these studies are performed by the hotel buyers and developers, at other times a lender may require a consulting firm to conduct a market study and include it with the loan application materials. While basically the same, there are differences between the way market and feasibility studies are conducted when analyzing a hotel acquisition as compared to when the studies are done to analyze the development of a new hotel.
